Trials in unbecoming shows people in Belles Artes park in Mexico city perform the act of collapsing as slowly as possible in front of one of the parks various public fountains.
The film explores the relationship to individual peoples bodies and the surrounding architecture of the city. Mexico city is itself slowly sinking, due to the fact that the
city was built on top of a lake, in pre-colonialist times it was a floating city, later drained by European settlers.
